My name is Adenola (Nola) Osinubi. I am an economist and researcher with over 10 years of economic research experience in areas focusing on rural and urban economic issues, marginalized populations, and economic development. I am Ph.D. graduate from the University of Georgia’s Department of Financial Planning, Housing Policy, and Consumer Economics, with an emphasis in Housing Policy and Management. Throughout my academic career I have conducted several studies exploring different economic and economic development issues, especially in the subject area of rural and urban community issues.
Prior to pursuing a doctoral degree, I obtained a Masters Degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Georgia, and a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Spelman College, located in Atlanta, Georgia.
My research interest focuses on community economic development, international development, urban and rural economics, housing policy, human rights experience, zoning policy, and neighborhood change. I employ the use a mixed method approach using statistics/quantitative analyses, spatial analyses, and qualitative processes in my studies.
